I recommend this salad because it is firstly very tasty but most
importantly it contains a lot of protein (chicken) and carbohydrates
(pasta). These are very important components in an oarsman’s diet. Bon
appétit to all World Rowing e-Magazine readers!

Boil the pasta as long as necessary. While the
• Chicken breast
pasta is boiling, cut the chicken breast into pieces,
• Broccoli
season with salt, pepper, paprika, dried garlic and
• Sun-dried tomatoes
fry in a pan with oil. When the pasta has boiled
• Grated Parmesan
and the chicken has fried, combine in a large

• Pepper
salad bowl. Meanwhile, take some broccoli, divide
• Paprika
into small parts and blanch in hot, salted water;
• Dried garlic
after blanching rinse with cold water. Add the
broccoli to the pasta and chicken. Cut the sun-
dried tomatoes and add them to the salad; some
of the oil (or olive oil) from the tomatoes can also
be included. Finally, add grated parmesan and
season salad according to taste. Cool the salad in
the fridge for about 1 or 2 hours.
