During World Rowing Tour in Germany, the
company of recreational rowers wound through
the region of Mosel, well-known for its quality
wines, beautiful vineyards and picturesque
wine villages and their cellars (see photos on
following pages).
In 2009, Lithuania will reveal its beauty to
those who glide down the long meandering
Neman River. The tour will start in Birstonas,
described by tour organiser Inga Okuleviciene
as “simply the most beautiful little town in
all Lithuania” and will take place from 15 to
22 September.
