Morphed from the Rower’s Almanac, the
Boathouse Finder is a resource that enables
you to find rowing clubs around the world. But
you must know your coordinates – the search
for clubs requires you to know a latitude and
longitude reading. The site also has profiles of
rowing in di;erent countries and interesting
rowing statistics.

Before the Olympic Games there is always a boom
in individual and rowing team websites and
blogs. Most of them disappear just as quickly as
they appeared after the Games have finished,
but some are more than fly-by-nighters. Check
out Iztok Cop
www.iztokcop.com, Olaf Tufte
www.olaftufte.com and musings by Drew
Ginn
drewginn.blogspot.com. The German
men’ s
www.deutschlandachter.de and
women’s
www.frauenachter.de eights have
also endured over time and both sites regularly
have new information. Great Britain’s 2008
Olympic Champion rower Pete Reed also has his
personal website complete with a photo gallery at
www.petereed.co.uk.
